Just paid £68 off my debt as i saw my scalifax bill and want to get rid of the cc. Have bt all the rest for 0% so as soon as its all through i will be calling them to cancel that horrid card. At least i dont have to pay the bt credit cards dds this month which is good.
Any extra money is going to be now be used mainly for the wedding fund. Have got £110 left to reach my target of £500 for the 1 debt vs 100 days challenge but this should come out via dds.
Have also put another £31 towards the wedding - wanted to round it up to £2250.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -

Thanks savingholmes for the welcome and the congrats. I find this diary really helps me to focus and put all the challenges together in one place. Have enjoyed reading others diaries and the inspirational stories i have heard. Its good to have this online support as in 'real' life i dont tend to talk about money worries to anyone so its good to have this online support group.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

Did a big shop at the end of Jan so i would not need to go shopping in February for a bit which took my Jan GC total to £241.96/£200. I was only going to count what i had eaten that week but that would be cheating.
So far for Feb GC £63/£180. This has all been on eating out due to a work do and take aways. Will need to do a shop soon so hopefully will stay in budget this month.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
Today i received a cheque for £475 as i had opened two Scottish friendly bonds and i had to close one down. Its great when money comes to you when you least expect it. This is going straight into the wedding fund isa and am now up to 50%. The OH has to close his down too so hopefully we will get a cheque soon.
Went shopping today and spent £20.87. So Feb GC is now £83.87.
Also made a payment of 27p to get rid of the scalifax hopefully next week i can ring them up and cancel that card.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
