Cotton wool large pads 5p and a few other toiletry bits.
All marked at managers specials'.0 -
My local Tesco Extra has a whole aisle (really big) full of Manager's Specials, although some of the discounts aren't very good - e.g. something like Uncle Ben's Sweet & Sour Sauce which would normally be around £1.30 would be £1.10, etc etc.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

just be careful , some managers bargains are not as much of a bargain as you think!!! Our local tesco has a seperate section for the bargains and quite often you find stuff with managers bargain stickers over the barcode for much more than the retail price. For example once there was tesco value jelly managers bargain 30p is usually sold for 8p'ish!!would love to win an ipad!

We bought some Christmas Cake decorations for 20p and also some Kids spray-on factor 50 for £1.30 so I'm not going to grumble.
Some of the stuff there didn't seem that cheap (especially cosmetics and hair dyes) - a lot of these are cheaper when they are on regular deals.
It looks like Tesco's are clearing old stock out anyway which is always fun for money savers! The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

Are there any spell checkers on special?
Now that would be a useful bargain.0 -

Gloucester Cattle Market Tesco seems to have all the old tat in the Manager's Bargains. Lots of nearly-out-of-date sun care products, bashed boxes of vitamins, so mostly end of range health and beauty stuff.
Not worth the bother.0 -
Just put out this afternoon in my local store, packs of 30 Duracell AA batteries for just 60p0

Wow Edinburghlass - which is your local and I'll try and get along!0

Oldham has loads of stuff in (Huddersfield Rd) but please check the dates as some plum baby fruit puree'd for my dd was a month out of date....apparently the grocery stock manager said its all 'free' stock they've got in from the tesco's in ireland which are closing for a refurb....keep checking as there should be more due in.
