Here is a link to the manual for the DC01 - all instructions are there including removing a blockage. I follow this procedure and my machine has been serving me well for many years.

    Hope this helps.

Is the block in the 'wand'?

If so try dropping a coin down it - possibly.

There should be a help-line number on your dyson - try phoning them up if you can't get it shifted.

Lay the dyson down and use a hooked piece of wire to the side of the suction channel. Pull out the fluff etc.

The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

    Thanks.

Dyson used to have a very good falult diagnosis website - I don't know if they still do, but I used it successfully a few years back when our Dyson wouldn't work properly (& I am not very technically-minded).
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!

Does the roller spin okay when its on?

With the DC01, the whole thing practically comes apart. Have you had the rolelr out and checked that it's all clear around it?
