Toshiba cash-back

After checking on this site for a good deal, I bought a small laptop just before Christmas. It is a Toshiba Mini NB200 and was sold by eBuyer.
There is a £50 cash-back with it, which couldn't be claimed till 30 days after the sale (which became valid 10 days ago).
I have tried twice to fill in the online claim form, but the 'submit' button doesn't work. I've emailed Toshiba who haven't replied and I've emailed eBuyer who also haven't replied, though I guess it's not their problem.
Can someone tell me what to do/who to contact next please. I shall be very miffed if I can't claim the cash-back

I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Have you tried a different browser??
If you are using Firefox, try Internet Explorer (or vice versa)0 -
try filling it in, printing it, not submitting and then posting the document to Toshiba and state that it wouldn't allow you to sumbit. sometimes that worksSTARTING BALANCE JAN 09 £47,400
Debt left 24th December 2010 - 13611!!!!!:j
Update may 2013 - debt left £8000
Update oct 2014 - £25000 -
I'm going through all this at the moment and its not looking good.
Firstly the first jumping through hoops gets you too the printing stage. You have to check your printer works before hand if not, you cant access that website twice. It tells you before you start the registration process.
2nd. Buying from Ebuyer voids your claim anyway. This is the problem i'm having.
Maybe Money saving expert can advise, this is the problem.
Ebuyer doesnt ship you a receipt at all.
You have to print your receipt from your account page.
I did this and posted my claim.
I've not heard from toshiba for ages, so i emailed them.
this is the reply.
Dear Mike
Thank you for your email.
I have checked our records and advise that your claims have been received but unfortunately invalidated because you did not include your invoice from Ebuyer.
A letter confirming this will be sent to you shortly, giving you 21 days from letter date to forward this document for validation.
Regards
Toshiba Team
I did include the invoice, although printed, and i have an enote in ebuyer asking them for some original receipts, if they bother too answer, since there is another 21 days leeway.
So basically any cashbacks claimed from ebuyer are rejected.
I bought two netbooks, so im a worse dilemma. £100 out of pocket
Anyone else having this problem, or can anyone help. just wondering what my rights are...
Good luck0 -
Maybe a daft question but are you sure you sent them the Invoice and not the Order Page??
It does say Ebuyer Invoice at the top of the page and includes Ebuyers VAT Number at the bottom.Ebuyer (UK) Ltd, Howden, East Yorkshire, DN14 7UW - VAT Number: 836592300
Ebuyer (UK) Ltd is registered as a producer under the waste electrical and electronic equipment directive (2002/96/EC) with registration number: WEE/FK0254QU0
