7 day All Inclusive RIU Hotel Holiday for 6

Hi,
Can anyone suggest a cost-effective way to book an all inclusive RIU hotel in the sun (Europe) for a week starting on the 28th Aug 2006, (returning on 4th Sept) for 6 adults (3 rooms) ? Destinations of Spain, Canaries or Greece are favourite, but I need flights from Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford or Doncaster.
Flights to southern Europe booked seperately are ranging from £180 pp upwards.
I'd hire a car, so transfers are'nt required.
Thanks

Sounds like a job for Savapenny?

Don’t forget to joint their RIU loyalty club for further discounts, although it took me 6 month’s before my card came through.

Yeah those cards can take forever to come through but the more you use RIU now you have it the better the perks will be.

wroughtironron...there as been some good deals on the Tunisia and Bulgaria Riu's

Bulgaria & Tunisia are both coming in at around 230pp off the Riu site.

Canaries ...cheapest would probably be the Riu Vistamar in Gran Canaria and TravelMan could probably get you a better deal on that one than the Riu site.
A good guide price for that one is around £360 pp per week + flights and approx the same for the Club Hotel Riu Paraiso in Lanzarote

Hotel Palace Royal Garden Tunisia - Isla de Djerba is the only 5* Palace AI in Europe/Africa ..worth hunting a deal on that one usualy its around 300pp per week +flights

    Riu have nothing in Greece

Just checked the package prices ...the Bulgaria one is coming out to around £1,100 per couple

Package on Lanzarote one is around £1,400 per couple

Package on Tunisia around £1,200 per couple.

good savings to be had to DIY

https://www.riu.com/uk/ full list of the hotels

  • Thanks for the advice.
Do you think the price will drop significantly if I wait until nearer the departure date ?
Also, the budget carriers aren't coming up with any good flight deals at the moment for end of August deals.
I was hoping to get a flight and accom (all inc) for under £400.

Bulgaria and Tunisia packages might come down but DIY (booking via RIU) wont.
Lowest I have seen Bulgaria Riu's is around £350 for a week and approx same for the Tunisia one.
Canaries usualy hold the price well, but mainland Spain you might get a deal
    keep an eye on https://www.portlanddirect.co.uk
https://www.eclipsedirect.co.uk they both seem to have the good Riu deals from time to time

My daughter says that if you book holiday dates with Tesco and you don't get a reply within a week you get the dates anyway...could he not put in another request?
