replacement key for Renault Scenic (card type thingy)

A friend has a '54 plate Scenic with the credit card type key you put in dashboard, then press start button, only has 1 with the car, can they get another somewhere other than a main dealer? As im guessing main dealer prices will be sky high :rolleyes:

On a similar note, what size batteries are these supposed to have? I've an 05 Scenic that I bought secondhand and have always replaced the batteries with the type that were in when I got it but the batteries don't seem to last any time at all.
I've been using CR2025 3V.0
