Dfs ppi

My husband took voluntary redudancy in April 09 (as if he hadn't they would've made him redundant anyway). We bought our sofa from DFS in September 08 and started paying it in September 09 - I have just realised we have also been paying PPI for it and sent for a claim form. Does anyone know if they pay out if the redundancy was voluntary, and if so will they back date it?

Thanks
Louise

  • I very much doubt they will pay up, but suggest you take a look at the policy wording. In truth, I think you'd be better off getting a refund of the PPI premium...

    Voluntary - NOPE.

DFS is the worse scam artists of the century. Sorry but true. The sales people are there to rip people off on all matter of insurance without going through the KFI and key parts in the policy documents.

    Get a refund!
