It's a quad core processor, it's what does all the work inside your pc, although if you don't know what it is you probably don't need it !0

its a computer's processing chip (presumably with heatsink), if you buy one and add a hard disk, motherboard, graphics card, some RAM, a power supply, case, operating system, keyboard, monitor and mouse(and maybe an optical drive & wireless card) you'd have a conventional 'desktop computer'.0

That's just the processor 'chip'. Not what you need, I'm afraid.
