Bargain hotel in Bolton, Greater Manchester?

We want to go to a family event next Sunday so will need to spend Saturday at a hotel.

Does anyone know of any good deals?

I know that this is last minute but my father is seriously ill and this has dominated our thoughts recently.

i was going to suggest the other travel lodge in horwich (near the beehive pub), only about 2miles or so out of the town centre, and closer than the mway one.

Horwich is 3-4 miles from the town centre I think, and if you don't want to drive, its only about 10-15mins by bus from just outside the beehive. The DeVeres hotel is actually attached to the Reebok stadium and great for shopping in Middlebrook (theres a cinema, 2 supermarkets and several shops and fast food in the surrounding area) and getting the train at Horwich Parkway.
