HELP! digicam memory card trouble

Hi folks! A plea for some tech help here!

I spent a good few hours transferring pics from my Fiance's camera memory card yesterday (put it in the slot on my pc) and now the card is telling me it's "write-only protected"! How do I rectify this? I'm averagely savvy when it comes to tech stuff but something's gone badly wrong here!!

    Do you mean "write-protected" (which means read only). Some SD cards have a little write-protection switch on them. Maybe you accidentally switched it?

    I may have! I'll investigate - is it just like a little slidey tab or something?
