New Season's Wallpaper

hi
We want to decorate the lounge (not been done for a few years). Just wondered if anyone knows when the new collections arrive in shops? Went to B&Q yesterday, for a look and we thought most of them were ghastly.
Thanks

    If there is a Brewers near you, then go there. They are normally open Saturday mornings. They may be a little more expensive than B&Q etc, but they have pretty much everything on the market. It gets ordered in for you and they'll have it ready for you by about mid week (except the really expensive wall paper which is hand made for your order).

    My wife spent about 3 hours going through their ranges. There is bound to be something there that tickles your fancy.

    Check them out online as well. They have an online shop at

    I agree with Imp, wallpaper direct is my first port of call when choosing new wallpaper. I tend to use it to research my choice, then buy from S & A Supplies (I have no affiliation) as they carry most lines and are generally significantly cheaper. Excellent service and nice people too.

    Unfortunately, my latest choice is a little more obscure so I'm not able to shop around - I'm going for this from Mini Moderns in the kitchen...

    It was only 2 and a half hours, not 3!
  • hi, probably nnot entirely related but we recently decorated the feature wall in our bedroom with wall stickers. they are avialable from anywhere online (type in wall stickers in google) and you will be suprised on the amount there. i think we looked at wall glamour and wall art websites.

    in the end we bought a massive floral sticker off ebay fromchina for about £20 instead of the £150 the uk companies wanted to charge. too about 3 hours to fit (its 1.5 metres long and very intricate) but looks fantastic. you need two people to fit it and it has to be done in sections but its far beter than any wall paper (even the really expensive stuff) and looks exactly like its been hand painted on the wall.

    the one we bought can be seen here;

    like isaid, its not for the impatient, but it looks awesome now its fitted. may just be the next big thing!
