Can someone please tell me the difference between these two cards.
I have a Samsung D860 camera with a Transcend SD 2gb card in it. Can I put a 4 GB SDHC card in it?
Many thanks.

SD = up to 2gb (iirc).
SDHC = SD High Capacity = currently up to 32gb (?).
You will need to check your camera supports SHDC (it will say in the manual the maximum supported capacity).
Edit: According to this: http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/camera/specification/1912/show.html your camera supports SD and SDHC. You'll be fine.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Yes it will take a 4Gb SDHC card, but 4Gb is the maximum. Taken from samsung website

I would buy another 2gb card, rather than a single 4gb.
Depending on alternating cards, if a card gets lost or corrupted, you would lose half rather than all of your pictures.0 -

Sorry to disagree, but ...
It would be best to get an SDHC card, as they tend to be faster (though not always).
You can get a 4GB card for lower cost (per GB). The actual difference is only a couple of £'s per card. As they are now relatively cheap you could even get two 4GB cards, to have one as the 'spare' you so rightly recommend !
