Hi all,
I'm just at the begining of a ppi claim with RBS Mint. I have taken a copy of the template letter and amended for my needs but just wanted to check with you guys before sending. The only reason i have included is that correct information was not given at the point of sale.
The card was set up back in 2002 via their online forms and at no point do i recall speaking to anyone regarding any aspect of this. I also do not recall a ppi section where by i would have selected to include it. should i include something detailing this or just leave as is?
Has anyone else had experience claiming back from their online setups?
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the PPI threads.;)
I understand it can be more difficult trying to reclaim with finance being sold online, but there have still been success.
So keep at them and good luck.
Have you also checked the above success threads? this may give you an idea of others experience.
If they do no uphold in your favour, then you can always take it to the FOS for them to investigate.
Just a suggestion, if you've not a lot of paperwork which you feel would help your case, its up to you but you could always request for a Subject Access Request (SAR), this costs £10 by either postal order or cheque payment and they have 40 days to comply, as usual use recorded delivery, and link here to SAR template letter:

Good luck with this please keep us posted.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
