Covering Windows

Hi,

we are doing some house work and have taken off all the curtains and net curtains,
we want to cover the windows are we have very very nosey people on our street.

can someone please tell me what i could put on it, i have seen house with some white stuff on the windows but i havent a clue what it is

    How about some mirror glass film? It looks like a mirror from the outside (in daylight) but you can still see out. At night you'd still need to close the curtains.

    I tthink you mean while you are decorating? If so use windowlene just smear it on an leave. It will dry white/pink and no one will be able to see through the window. Once you have finished you just polish it off,

    window lene seems expensive to use on the whole house

    what about a cheapy cif watered down will that be ok too.

    Water the windowlene down a bottle should do the whole house. Or even a cheaper substitute would do the same job. Cant say about ciff as I have never tried it.

    Should have specified - my bad. NOT a vinyl one. Something like Supermatt - just washes off.

    i have done that but it doesnt let in alot of the light so its hard to see how the paint has come out!

    might just use newspaper and masking tape

    should be cool
