I want to put a footer in my spreadsheet. Ideally like to copy one from a Word document.
My problem is that the footer gap in Excel is in 3 sections and I can't figure out how to format it into one big space, can any one please help???
Thanks

I think (emphasis on think if it doesnt work!!) that if you copy it from Word and paste it in the left box that excel shows for footers, it should stretch across the bottom of the page.
you might have to go to print preview to see it!:think:0 -
You can put in whatever you want in one section, and it should 'stretch' across the whole page, if no other footer section is used.
If it is in the left, it will left align, in the middle section it will centre, and the right section it will right align.
As joncarpet says, use print preview to check, but I just tried in Excel 2003 and it seemed to do as I describe.0
