  • i was with privelege for years, never had a problem, til i went on holiday, and somebody put a false claim in against me, after three weeks in the med i came home to a single letters saying that i had 14 days to dispute the claim or they would automatically pay out! I had not a single call from them, despite providing my home number, mobile number, and my overseas mobile number. Fortunately the day i came home, was day 14, so i rang up screaming how could i possibly have had an accident went my car has been in a locked garage for the best part of a month and did they not bother to ring me and ask me?

I've now been with Tesco for 3 cheap & hassle free years! :)

Tesco are run by UK Insurance and Privilege are run by Direct Line.

Tesco are closely affiliated to RBS Group and so are DL.

thanks for the p*ss take! i know who underwrites the companys! but it's not the underwriters who are at the end of the phone when you make a claim, or have one made against you.

I was simply trying to highlight my experience of poor representation by Privelege. Atleast i provided some sort of input towards OP's problem obviously you have no opinion to offer.
