Vanquis keep charging me by mistake

Vanquis strike again. Certainly a good bet to follow the official complaints route, get proof of delivery of the next letter, and get on to the FOS as soon as you can.
As you say it's been going on for literally years in the case of your account, which you can prove. It might also be worth doing a Section 7 DPA request on vanquis, as this will prove two things:
1. You made Vanquis aware of the problem years ago (call transcript notes)
2. They have been making the same mistake for years (copy statement transactions)
If you include this with your complaint to the FOS, once the waiting time has lapsed, they should have plenty enough to give Vanquis a good and proper seeing to.
