I have just set up a new website and the email address that I have now comes through 'outlook connector' rather than just into my normal outlook.
I have never seen this before and not onoly do I not seem able to send emails from this part, but when I delete them it just crosses them out! I will end up with thousand of crossed out emails if I cant get this sorted out...
Can anyone help???

From a little research Outlook connector synchronises your msn live account with outlook. Now I don't know what email address you are using, or exactly what the question is (it's a little unclear) but can you just uninstall outlookconnector via the control panel?
I am a little unsure as to what is happening when you want to send/receive an email.
Can you explain exactly what steps you are making?Marketing and web design guy. FIRE enthusiast.0 -
I have two email addresses, both coming into Outlook - one is 'normal' but the other one all the emails are going into a 'folder' called 'm@ynewemail.co.uk' (not that actual email address) - they all look normal, but when you try and delete something it just crosses them out, rather than actually deletes them. I can send emails normally, but cannot 'send' anything from this new email address.
I hope that makes sense?0 -
If you have added the new email address, then I presume you must have set it up in Outlook - POP3 and SMTP servers and ports, username/password etc - does the outgoing server need authentication, have you ticked the box.
What version of Outlook do you have?
Normally when you have multiple accounts set up, then when you send it uses the default account, unless you select a different one from the pulldown.0 -

It sounds as though you have it set up as an IMAP account. The emails are held on the server and you just see a local copy. To truly delete them go to Edit -> Purge and select the purge option. They should then be deleted both in Outlook and on the server. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
