Ewido + your Antivirus (if up to date) in safe mode should do it, if not follow ALL the steps in posts 1 to 4 of the thread

if still there afterwards then post a "hijack this" log as requested so I can take a look for you

There are lots of options for removing trojans, virii, malware. It's just a case of finding the one that works for you. Here are a couple:

http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/

If you check the google search here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=downloader.trojan&btnG=Google+Search then click on the 'cache' buttons, you will find loads of people who have been in similar situations to yours. Just read up on their experiences and see which one works.
