  • what about depletion layers and fresnal zones??;)

Sorry i'm electrical not electronic! If you want to move lots of power (500A+) around or generate your own for standby use i'm your guy, if you only got a few micro amps to move round then you might as well ask me about womens shoes! I prefer 630mm2 cables to PCBs!
I have a lot of problems with my neighbours, they hammer and bang on the walls sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning - some nights I can hardly hear myself drilling ;)

i'd love to move 500A to my gaff in France, it has an interrupter which trips at 15A.....so no 500W outside lights. low energy bulbs, low wattage kettle, gas cooker, woodburner etc. it's due to the tariff. can be reset to 30 or 60A if you change.

Where do you want to move it from? How far is it? I reckon if its a few hundred miles then a series of step up/step down transformers would be your best bet. 132kV sounds good to me:rotfl:You can get more power out of your 15A supply if you were able to step up the voltage on your side (more watts less amps!).
