when this happens, i usally use plumbers mait to stick it to the plug and pull it up and out. i suppose you could try blue tack or something sticky to stick to the plug and pull it out?

try one of those suckers you get to hold flannels or towels up on the wall in the bathroom, the ones you stick to your tiles. You also get them on kids car blinds. Then keep an up ward pull pressure (dont yank it suddenly) and if you have a tiny hammer or similar tap it all round the edge whilst doing this. This should work.
Hope that helps.0 -

I think its the same as the one you would get in a sink. i broke my brothers whilst visiting him. I had to unscrew the waste pipe underneath as the plug is on a plunger which sits in the pipe. I pushed it up as the hook had broken and bought a replacement. Job done
I have nothing better to do!!!!

If its definitely broken, you do need to get access as i believe the linkage has to be replaced as a unit. Is there any way to take off the plunger that you push to operate the plug. There may be a way to push the link to the plug to release it. I cant think of any other way apart from taking the bidet off the wall.....
