Expiry of interest free period

Hi

I have an Abbey credit card (MBNA) and have an interest free rate at the moment. My recent statements says that this applies until my March 2010 statement date.

My statement usually arrives at the beginning of the month. What date do I need to clear the balance by to avoid interest charges. Is it end of Feb 2010 or end of Mar 2010?

Thanks

The date the statement is created in March.
Usually the same day each month so look at a previous statement to see what day that is.
  • I would suggest that you clear the card to be on the safe side befor the end of February.
Better to clear a few days early than be punished for being a few days late.
