I'm not convinced by any papers.
I'm sure when I was younger they used to give objective reports and save comment for the editorial or at least highlight it as comment but now it's very difficult to sort out facts from opinions.
It could by that I'm more knowledgeable and cynical now (true but I don't think that's the only reason).
Received something recently pointing out how much property had increased from 1996 to 2006 and suggesting that now would be a good time to buy to catch the next 10 year increase as thought there was some connection.0 -

I see that former key players have left variously to online journalism (Steve Lodge), to Financial Mail on Sunday (Richard Dyson) and to the Sunday Independent (David Prosser).0 -

Personally I read the Sunday Times ... although I find myself reading the Travel, Driving, Style & News, Doors, business before the Financial pages these days.
Might have a flick thro' whatever rag my wife is reading ( varies based on whose got Big Bro on front page) and in-laws Mail on Sunday ... if the visit ( more often these days)

The Mail on Sunday is much more on the ball than most of the rest: the Saturday FT is often worth a read and so is the Sunday Telegraph money section.
Much of the rest consists mainly of rewrites of industry press releases , not only bad advice but also boring. In particular the rent a quote IFA advice from the usual suspects is utterly predictable and often extremely superficial - ignore.
Trying to keep it simple...0 -
I just mentioned this on another thread. Financial Mail was the only paper that said that members should really go for the Standard Life flotation.
This satisfied reader is currently sitting on a 10% return on his invesment.
The Sunday Times said "avoid big time". But at least they took a view, rather than the fence sitting that was the characteristic of many press articles.0
