    Hi

I am not sure what avater is and how to get it (edit: all sorted now), but would like to show my solidarity and compassion too. AnWs mum my thoughts are with you.

    G&b
, terrible news. I have two boys 8 & 10 and sometimes think it is a scary world we are living in.

gansandbanjos, thank you. It is a whole new world on my screen now.

ragz, if it is a plastic one, I would not risk it. Might come out crumbled. A kind of fabric one would be ok. I did it before.

Had my cup of tea with pumpkin cake, now off to do some flying. Shame it looks like it is going to rain - wanted to plant some onions. Off I go then

Luckily I have spare ones put by for homebirth so can replace if it goes wrong but am just checking before I try...
Yes, if it's a fabric one. If it's a plastic one, then no

Also, bits betweeen tiles are going yellow and around bath is mouldy - shall I paint with bleach? If so do I have to clean it off?
I don't think you should be playing with bleach in your condition :p Wear a mask and gloves to protect yourself from the mould spores too

To kill the mould spores (most important thing) dilute 2tsp tea tree oil in 450ml water, put in a spray gottle and spray grout.

Mould/mildew remover - dilute 60g borax in 110ml vinegar and some warm water

To treat mould, dilute 110ml hydrogen peroxide in 225 ml water. Put in a spray bottle, spray onto mouldy areas and leave for an hour, then rinse.

To prevent mould, dry the shower/tiles/tub with a squeegie after use, let in natural light and wipe down tiles with diluted vinegar to inhibit mould growth.

    have fun :D
You can also try scrubbing with bicarb or full strength vinegar on a toothbrush... but don't expose yourself to the mould spores.

Aww thanks for the concern but my whole house is mouldy and I spend a lot of time drying windows and wiping off mould every day so prob a bit late for that! Thanks for the tips though, will go dig out my tea tree oil - expect I'll find it while sorting bathroom, I keep chucking out products but still have millions I never use...
Do you think a tub of Nivea I've had for 7 years and had to scrape mould off yesterday should go in the bin? :o

As I can't put my plastic shower curtain in the WM, what shall I do with it?

    Morning all

    AnW'sMum
and of course Miss A and Master W sending you all lots of love today. I hope spring comes really soon so that your Daddy can look down and see the daffodils blowing in the breeze.

    Pooh
    Belated Birthday wishes

Diva I hope Tris and Michelle star to improve very soon

As it is raining my aim is to clean all 4 bedrooms this morning - kids have done their bit and tidied everything away so if I get a wiggle on it is achievable.
