documents needed in Ltd company registration

Greetings,
I'd like to register a limited company by myself and am aware that Articles of Association and Memorandum of Association are necessary in completing the registration.
Do you have any advice as to where I can get them? I have seen someone selling them on ebay, but the whole package also includes form 10: (provides details of the company director(s) and secretary) ; and form 12: (declaration of compliance)
I was wondering what these forms are for? Do I need them as well?
Many thanks for you kind advice for my simple questions!

The forms 10 and 12 are downloadable from the Companies House website for free. They are to enable the company to be registered. The Mem and Arts would be specific to your company and you would be better getting an accountant to draw them up to your own needs.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0

You can get a company formed for around £25 - £30 if you search online for company formation. In my opinion this is by far the easiest way to do this and it's not expensive so it's not really worth trying to do it yourself.
If you are going to form a company you will have certain statutory record keeping and corporation tax obligations once it starts trading, so I would see an accoutant about this.0 -
Thanks TM 1976, I have seen such services online - do they include company house's £20 registration fee?0
