Mobile Phone Contract

Hi, I received a new phone via the web, sent a deposit and a pac code to change my provider and keep my number, this was supposed to happen on the 5th of January. Its now the 17th, and my new provider have not contacted me to change to them . My pac code runs out on the 23rd and I will be liable to 02 to pay for a monthly bill if my new provider dont transfer my number by then. Do I just carry on with 02 , meaning I may have a free phone, and hope that the new provider have forgot me, or can they in a few months time chase me up.

Why not contact the new provider and see what they have to say.
Or are you trying to say you have changed your mind about the new provider and would like to just stay with O2?
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

I don't think many of us have time for this. If you want to use the new phone with your old number, then get on to them to sort it out. If you want to scam them out of a phone, then do nothing and see how long your luck lasts. If you have to ask about it here, then I would say you would be caught out quite quickly, and nobody would be sorry for you.

So you expect nice replies when in essence, what you are saying is, "can i scam a company out of a phone because im an impatient troll and cant be asked to sort things out wit my old provider."

Er no..... if you ask such a stupid question, prepare for the rude responses.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

I would contact you new providor, it could well be you commit theft by keeping the phone, you know that you are meant to be paying for the handset (entered a contract) therefore you are already showing the intent to permanently deprive the phone company of it.

These things have a habit of catching up with you!
These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!

I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!

Scamming phones is not a life, but if it stops you coming here for the most part, it is not all bad.
