Whats a good gas hob and Extractor to get?

Renovating the parents kitchen and looking to purchase a 5 burner gas hob and a matching extractor hood (I think chimney type). My parents do a lot of asian cooking so lots of pots and pans are used on a daily basis and need good extraction to get rid of the grease.

Can anyone reccommend any hobs and extractors that are proven to be good quality?

I have a Neff hob and a CDA extracter. Happy with both.

    Hi

It really depends on your budget and the size of the room with regard to the extractor. Also will the extractor be ducted out?

Budget, would be around 1.5 - 2k for both items. Extractor will be ducted out thru external wall. Room size is roughly 3m by 7m off the top of my head.

    Hi

Right OK you can do better than average products I would budget £500 to £700 on the hob, have a look at Neff, Siemens or Miele. Then £1,300 to £1,500 for the extractor, it depends a lot on what you like the look of but for that money I think you could just about get a Gutmann extractor. These are arguably the best extractors money can buy.

    Good luck.
