Are there any plans of HBOS getting rid of visa electron anytime soon? As it seems all the other banks have started to.

HBOS seem to be the only one willing to stand by Electron as a bank account debit card0

Will this mean since other banks are starting to get rid of them, that shops will stop accepting it as a payment method
