why do i cough so much in shower?

had bit of chest infection last coupel of weeks thats nearly gone, but every time i shower i have a coughing fit and think im gonna cough up my insides, is this normal? penacillin has cleared up my chest infection but me, and my girlfriend always have coughing fits in there, is it just the steam and hot water? :confused:

All you need to do is put a bleach/water solution into a squirty bottle. Spray it all round at night then the next morning rinse it off...
I use neat bleach but slightly watered downshould do it.
