Daffodil bulbs

Hi Beltona, bung them in and you will get something if the bulbs are still good, not dried up to nothing or rotten that is.
There have been some trials done and late planting often catches up with those bulbs planted in Autumn. You may get flowers a bit later than it states on the pack, depends very much on the weather as well - but I'd give it a go, you have nothing to lose!
Bless Martin's Little Cotton Socks. I thank him for giving us MSE. Look what its grown into!

I agree, get them in in the next week and you should get a late showing.0

Once up a time we use put Daffodils into special glasses to force them to flower earlier , You can use a jar and tin foil - fill with water cut a hole in the foil sit a bulb on top, place on window sill , Method No. 2 is just put them into pots and bring them on then plant out into the garden or keep indoors , If the the kids to do this its a way of getting them into gardening . We used do this at school .0
