Have you looked at land registry sold prices for each street?

I wouldn't pay more than £25k for any of them except for that one at Old Swan which I'd offer £20k for, tops.0

Thanks, what a great post. I'm sure they'll bite your bite hand off...
But why the one at Old Swan?0 -
You asked for an opinion so I gave you one. You unfortunately didn't asked for reasonable or well-informed ones, however. Old Swan is one of the few areas of Liverpool that I've heard of so I picked it at random. I'm a bit short of entertainment this evening, so I apologise.
It just baffled me that someone would ask a question on such a regionally non-specific website is this when there's no guarantee that any posters on here would know and understand property or their prices in the North-West, never mind Liverpool itself.
A general rule-of-thumb is to buy the worst property on the best street, rather than vice-versa0 -

So no-ones ever asked a question about property in a certain area before on this forum?
Also because I didn't specify that I wanted a reasonable opinion, just an opinion, you saw fit to post the way you did. If you had nothing constructive to say why post?
Some people are strange...:rolleyes:0 -
They all look exactly the same to me, none of them have much kerb appeal, any period features have been uPVC'd out of them. To be honest, terraced houses in Liverpool remind me of Bread."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

BitterandTwisted is spot on, you asked a silly question and you got a silly answer.
This sort of question has been asked many times, but the people that get sensible answers usually do some of their own homework. You gave us SIX houses to look at; EIGHT hours ago I gave you a link to find out what the average sold price in each street was. You either haven't bothered to look at the website or you haven't bothered to share the information with us.

I did look at the link you posted, and it was informative, but I was asking for your opinion.
I am a ftb so I was kind of hoping someone who has bought before and knows the values of extended kitchens etc would be a better buying point, than another house which does not have one.
Don't answer if you don't have have an opinion, this topic will soon fade away...0 -
