New year in disney land paris

Really want to take my 1 year old to disney for new year. i have been quoted £750 for 2 nights including park entrance and flights staying at the hotel santa fe - my boyfriend thinks this is fine and wants to book - i feel its a lot of money. Anyone seen it at a better price ?

hiya....we paid 1190 for 3 0f us to stay 3 nights 4 days, fly air france, entrance to the park, breakfast with mickey and sleep in the hotel cheyanne(yee ha!) . i thought this was expensive (my dp wanted to book with co op travel straight away) so i thought i would have a scout round.Trying on the internet i managed to get it 50 quid cheaper but this was going by euro tunnel and booking each thing with individual companies.I decided to get everything together with the co op to save the hassel and because i was sure that they would be very similar in price when i included booking fees etc.
one thing i would say though......it is a lot of money to pay when your daughter will have no memory of it. My little boy is 4 and talks of it constantly ( i am also in the process of making a scrap book for him of his trip). However we took him abroad to the algarve when he was one and he does not ever remeber getting on the plane. I know disney land Paris is a magical place but it might be money well spent in a few years when she can really appreciate it? x
  • Thanks for that, He wll be 19 months when we go.

To be honest i know he wont remember it but im sure he will enjoy the moment. We have already been abroad twice this year with him and want to take him there - the other reason is because there is nowhere else i can think of too take him on new years eve - this year we just sat in and i dont want to do that again. Maybe £750 is ok then - it just we went half board in ibiza in may for 10 days for about that !!! Will maybe have a rethink and see if i can think of anything else. X

i agree i kept thinking ..my god we could go away for a fortnight with that! But we promised before we did our research and i have a new baby in November and we wanted to do something as a trio together before ds starts school and we get the new addition.
I know what you mean about new years eve,it all changes when you have a little one and no one to babysit!

    Hi

Why not book it seperately. You can get a room with breakfast at either the Holiday Inn Disneyland or Dream Castle, with breakfast, for around £85 - £90 per night, including breakfast.
The shuttle buses pick up from these hotels and they are much nicer than the Sante Fe. You could go even cheaper if you were willing to stay a couple of stops up the line at Bussy St Georges and make a 5 minute journey by train. This will bring you to the entrance of the park itself.

You can buy hopper passes from the Disney store and arrange travel yourself.
Eurostar is not booking yet as they only book 4 months in advance.

This is how we have done it in the past and it will save money.
