Oakland furniture (on sale) at Littlewoods. Did you order?

Hi, I know this is a long shot but I'm just wondering if anyone on here might be in the same position as me.
On the morning of the 24th December I ordered a TV unit and a narrow display unit from the Oakland range on the Littlewoods website. I had a leaflet delivered which showed that they were in the sale so I went straight online and ordered, and I was surprised to see them still showing as available. Later in the day I ordered another TV unit for my nan, and it was still in stock. All 3 items showed an expected delivery date of the 11/01/2010. Both items were in stock for days afterwards but did eventually show as "Out of stock".
Long story short is that after the delivery date has been and gone, 5 phone calls from myself to littlewoods customer services as well as 2 calls to their couriers plus no updates online, I'm finally informed that I'm not getting the items and they are not able to order more stock :mad:. I have sent an email to their complaints department who are apparently looking into it (and also advised me to use their website to re-order the items if I want them
)
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if maybe someone on here placed their order after me but did receive their items? I can't understand how their stock can show as available for so long after I ordered, yet we haven't received either item. Due to them not letting me know (and two customer service agents telling me their was no problem and I would definitely get my furniture) I have missed out on the chance to buy from somewhere else over Christmas when all of the sales were on, which lets just say I am less than happy about! If the same has happened to you them let me know!
