Yes I know that, I was just trying to get an answer.. I knew there wasn't one.
Why do some people think that it is OK to give false information like that...it helps nobody.:mad:0 -

That bit about Spain was certainly true a few years ago - I've seen no recent confirmation of that it still applies though.0 -

I'm sure there will be a claim that they were refused boarding by Ryanair on the basis of their passport not being valid for 26 months exactlyWhy do some people think that it is OK to give false information like that...it helps nobody.
Winds me up too - I'm sure people must believe this nonsense, but two minutes search on Google will tell you all! From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.

Officially, it doesn't. The Schengen Borders Code states clearly that the border may only be passed on the basis of a valid passport or recognised identity card - and while the Spanish border guards may let you in with an expired passport, it's not worth the risk or hassle. From Poland...with love.

So to revive and clarify: Can I travel to Spain and back with 4 wks left on Passport at return without TC airlines throwing me off?
The airline can't over-rule the FO can they?
If I have to renew my and OH passports and get one for the baby I'll be too poor to go!0
