HELP....my washer/dryer is broken :(

I have an ariston a1600wd washer dryer which is about 3 years old. it had been leaking a little bit from the door for about a year and then before xmas it stopped working and all the lights started flashing so we got a plumber out who replaced the pump and it seemed to work fine. then the week before xmas it went funny again so it has been turned off til the other day when i put a load in and halfway through the wash i heard a kind of pop noise, then there seemed to be loads of water leak out of the back and now all the button lights, the dry symbol and the key symbol flash rapidly and it wont let me do anything other than open the door which i dont really want to do as there is still water inside. hubby thinks the leak may have screwed up the electrics? i just dont want to spend laods repairing it when i already spent £80 on a new pump only for it to break down again i'd rather just go and get another one. any help would be GREATLY appreciated as i have a baby due in 6 and a half weeks and have to wash all of the baby things still
thanks for reading

Hi, Washer /dryer saves space but costs more and when things go wrong the lot goes. Separates are better and you can wash and dry at the same time.
Can your SO switch off and look in the rear to see what has got wet?
Ask approved Ariston engineer (not plumbers) about fixed price repair costs.
Get a better brand if buying new and will last 10yrs.0
