Have you been in contact with your IP? Have you explained that you cannot afford the IVA repayments and discussed if there is any scope for the payments to be renegotiated based on your figures? They will sometimes renegotiate with creditors and perhaps reduce the IVA repayment and extend the IVA term.
You would still need to make some cutbacks somewhere (as others have suggested) to have at least some to pay towards your IVA but may be worth looking in to otherwise your IVA will fail.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I strongly suspect that your husband's work has a good employee assistance scheme- probably something which offers help very similar to the citizens' advice bureau, but without being so overworked, and won't pass any details back to his work. A call to them might be very helpful.
It would do no harm to run your figures through www.entitledto.co.uk to double check on benefits. I just ran through it making up lots of details for you and it came up with enough that you really ought to check.
Are your wages going to go up next month?
As it stands you are working all month for the grand sum of £32 (£500 earnings -£468 child care) and I am sure you could find something self employed to earn more than £32 a month while looking after your daughter. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I will look into what my OH's work has available. he has just gone in so have asked him to look while he is there. Thanks.
Will do the checks on www.entitledto.co.uk now. see what they say. my wage on smp was approx £500 and when i go back it will be approx the same, around £500. i know its not worth hundreds me going back, just have to see how a couple of months work, and then maybe rethink.
As for speaking to the IP, rang on thrsday..... and they are not back in until 2moro. so ringing first thing then. see what they have to say.
Am going to look into the milk for my dd as SM suggested. have started to try teh baby led weaning. just browsing the www to read up more on how to properly do it. well correctly anyway. Now married !!!

Has your partner's CSA payment been reviewed sice you had your dd? Because with another child to support full time, his payments to his ex would be reduced slightly. Might give you a bit of breathing space.
I don't know much about IVA's, but give the helplines that others have recommended a call. Can you either get your agreement reviewed to take your new income figures into account, or get a new agreement drawn up?
Have you added up the extra expense of you working? As in travel, clothes for work, lunches etc. That might actually swallow up the £32 you are left with! You may be better off not working, although you would have to weigh up the difference in wtc aswell x

yes the csa has been reduced. and the extra expense of me working shouldnt be much. i have uniform provided. i walk to and from work always have as its not far 30 min walk. and as for lunches, if i was at home i would still eat lunch , so i dont think i should incurr much extra expense from going. i know ill gain my sanity!!! no more cbeebies!!Now married !!!

Have you thought about real nappies ?Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

It won't help much, but if you have uniform provided and have to launder it yourself, there used to be an entitlement to a small amount of tax back. I don't know if it still exists. About five years ago, it was £50pa and you could get it backdated for six years, but previous amounts were smaller and you were taxed on this. My ex did this and as well as his £50 a year, which is added to your tax entitlement, he received about £88 for the back payment.0

Hi OP,
Do you use childcare vouchers for your DD. Dont know if you know but it is paid out befor you pay tax. If your OH paid for them it would reduce his tax bill and therefore his CSA liability as his net income would be lower (if on CSA 2).
This may mean by upping the amount of hours you get of childcare for the same money you could work a little more??? Maybe0 -
really feel for you, it is tough, we have been in a similar position, OH ended up declaring himslef bankrupt because of his'past life' debts.
Since I met him though its become a bit of a competition to see who can get things cheapest- lol- of ebay, charity shops etc.0
