Astracast Sink Cleaning

Hi

We have very recently had an Astracast Geo Rok sink fitted. The sink is black and looks fine when wet. However, when dry the edge of the sink next to the actual bowl looks more grey than black and there also appear to be faint water type stains on it. I've given Bar Keeper's Friend a try ( as suggested on the Astracast website), but am not convinced that this isn't making it worse. I also have a sneaking suspicion that the guy who painted the kitchen may have rinsed his brushes in the sink, and that this may have started the problem.

Does anyone have any advice re removing stains from these sinks? Given that the first one we had broke before even being installed I am beginning to think that they're cursed, so any tips would be gratefully received....

I have a black granite astracast sink and it doesn`t seem to stain at all, i have cleaned brushes in it aswell, if you think it is paint stains, try soaking a cloth in turps and see if that will remove it.

I have a white astracast kitchen sink, and I love it. Being white, its easy to clean any stains with a quick spray of bleach.
