Hi hope someone can help wanting to book to go to tunisia with 4 children but can someone please help me regarding injections have been told by freinds that we will need typhoid, hepA, and a couple of others, is this right? as we have also been told by others that you don't need any. very confused about this and don't want children to have injection just for a holiday, but would like to go to tunisia so any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

as long as you are staying in a resort and are careful with water, uncooked foods, fruit etc they should be fine. Vaccinations are only really necessary if you leave the coastal towns and head inland. be prepared for bouts of diarrhea (sp) though.we have love enough to light the streets.0

 Word of warning we went to Tunisia in Feb with our 4 children (7,10,13 & 16), we've had lots of injections over the years as we travel to Asia and are very clued up, but would never go to Tunisia again with or without or children.
We stayed in Sousse in a top hotlel and my 16 year old daughter has been sick ever since, originally our GP thought she had Hep A from washed but not dry hotel plates. Won't go into all the details but the Consultant thinks she has had a VERY DANGEROUS STOMACH INFECTION from Tunisia and basically part of her stomach has died!!! Now she is undergoing numerous tests, is on constant meds and still losing weight, we are so worried about her. My advice DO NOT GO TO TUNISIA WITH OR WITHOUT INJECTIONS.Panda on My Shoulder
If you can make it cheaper do so. If it's not reduced, in Primark, off ebay or free I can't have it :rotfl:0
