can i claim PPI charges from barclays

hi ive just received SAR from barclays the account was in dispute as they havnt sent me the credit agreement .
i can see on the statments that payment protectiom was taken out every mth, it was paid from 8/9/5/-8/8/6 on 18/10/6 it said dispute card protection and it wasnt paid after that date,
i still owe barclays.

do you think i could claim ppi ,and how do i go about it?
could someone advise me please thanks

Hi, you can still make a complaint even if the accounts in dispute but if you were to win and there was any arrears at any time they can make the redress against what you owe them. Who cancelled the PPI, you or them and what reasons did you give if it were you that cancelled?

Hi there......nice place then, I'm more on the Gwent end, or Monmouthshire then.;)

I know what you mean, if you succeed in reclaiming obviously you want this refunded directly to you because you were possibly out of pocket partly due to being mis sold perhaps anyway, its annoying isn't it?

As Marshallka said though, you can still try to reclaim on this, even though they may possibly refund the amount towards the arrears, if there is anything remaining this should be refunded directly to you.
On the link Marshallka posted, that is useful, with templates, a checklist of mis selling reasons and so on.

Cannot guarantee it but if you succeed, ask them to refund back to you because you are out of pocket due to this reason and already been deprived of your money, and request they refund this directly to you.
It maybe worth a go, fingers crossed.;)
