Question about a refund

Hi, wasn't sure which section to put this in but decided on here as I paid by credit card, lol.
I paid for a holiday for about £350 about 5 years ago, september 2005. Being the stupid fool I am I booked the wrong date and rung up about 5 minutes after booking it to cancel it, they said that was fine.
However, now that I am looking though my old statements I have noticed I never recieved a refund for this holiday! I know, I know, it's hilarious I never noticed this hadn't been refunded back then, but my head was well and truley in the sand due to escalating debt.
I am now in a position where my debt problems are soon to be a thing of the past :D And am just curious as to where I stand on this because it would be such a nice boost. But have I got no come back after this amount of time?

Thanks for any help

you have 6 years to make a claim..see it works both ways!
Just point it out to them and they will probably cough up so long as they had the money back from the holiday company.

Ah cool. It was actually booked online though and I have long since lost the email confirmation. I do have the amount and the date it was taken out though, will that be enough? Failing this, would I be able to make a contest for the amount with my credit card company? Even without the details of the holiday. Surely it's the job of Thompson to prove I had the holiday and not the other way round? :)
    Thanks
