IVA & Fairfax Solicitors

I've received a letter today from Fairfax Solicitors regarding a debt that was bought by a DCA (Max Recovery) and was including in my failed IVA:

'Our client purchased this debt while you were insolvent. Inclusion of this debt within your IVA constitutes acknowledgement of the debt. Your acknowledgement ended on the date your IVA was terminated and we believe this to be within the limitation period, unless proven otherwise. Please be aware that we will only accept official confirmation from your IVA provider.'

I took out the IVA with Debt Free Direct on 22/12/2003. I cannot remember if I made any payments at all, but the limitations period for the IVA has now passed. Therefore, can Fairfax Solicitors still pursue me for a debt that was taken out prior to the IVA? (The original default on the account for MBNA was 05/01/2004)

Also, the IVA has been removed from my file for Equifax but not on Experian or CallCredit. Should I contact Experian & CallCredit and request the IVA be removed?
