Car hire Menorca

Going to Menorca early June and looking to hire a car for the week, a friend of mine has told me that the price of car hire has gone sky high due to a shortage of cars....can anyone point me in the direction of a good car hire firm in Menorca

We used www.economycarhire.com.

They are UK based and use a company based close to the airport. Our Touran was almost brand new. Four years ago we paid £350 for a week in June, it's now £397.

You're not looking at ridiculous amounts. Searching on the screenscrapers shows that a mini 2dr starts at around 110 pounds for the week from Mahon airport.
