Do current Santander Bonds pay monthly interest?

I've been looking on their website. They quote annual and monthly interest equivalent interest rates but I'm confused because it then states that interest is paid on maturity. I've tried to ring their help line but as a new customer they won't take the call until I quote my account/card number, which I obviously don't have. Thanks.

4 Interest payment
You can choose whether the interest is to be paid to the Bond or to another Abbey
Savings or external Savings account. Once you have chosen the method of interest
payment, it cannot be changed. Annual interest will be paid on the 1st of the month
following opening and annually thereafter. Monthly interest will be paid on the 1st of
the month following opening and on the 1st of the month thereafter.0 -
Oh gosh - thanks for that. I've been trawling websites for ages trying to find another decent monthly interest-paying bond to roll over money from another bond which is about to mature and I think my brain must have temporarily frozen.0

That particular document & quote referred to the 2-year bond but I assume that the Terms & Conditions documentation of the other terms will contain a similar clause.Oh gosh - thanks for that.
