in Insurance & life assurance
i need help with getting a motor quote. everyone ive tried (confused and moneysupermarket etc) give completely different quotes to that when i then click to go to the insurer site who then bump up the price. its annoying me now.

any tips?

    Do it the old fashioned way and actually go to each insurer rather than the aggregators? They only actually cover a small percentage of insurers anyway

    i use confused etc as a start then i go onto the insurers sites and if i get a better deal i go with it .. sometimes i've phoned up the companys and say i can get a better deal through confused with so and so can you match and most will match..

    On Friday i hd to renew my car insurance and confused brought back quotes over £100 more expensive than going through the insurance company.
    Dont forget to go through quidco too for soe companies. Got £40 back through Direct line.
