    Hi,

Schools have plenty of computers for children to use: Why doesn't the goverment set up a scheme where those particular children can spend an extra hour after school using the internet? ...Or better still, keep the laptops under school ownership, and families can have the freedom to loan them? Of course, a lot of the more mentally challenged parents on a low or zero income would not like the idea of this, because they would not be getting their freebie, which would have been otherwise sold down the pub.

(....and before people start - I have been on benefits - I know what it's like.)
