HEENANS ceased trading what now ???

I had a claim with HEENANS solicitors which has been ongoing for ages...... years . I was told by loanchecker that i was misssold ppi and should get quite a sum back that was in 2007 . Now Heenans rang me yesterday and said they have ceased trading as of yesterday .

Any ideas what i should do now give up on ever getting this money back or try with another solicitors AGAIN ???

Petermp do you have any ideas as you was the one who helped me start this ???

Who has claimed ppi back from Blackhorse if you have could you tell me with what solicitors , thankyou

I tried to claim with Dawson and Hart first who after 15 months said ooopppss sorry we can't go any further with your claim (after telling me i had a good claim )

    Hi there

    So sorry to hear this, I had withdrawn from these and have gone the other direction with the insurer by doing this myself, try to get hold of all they have on you, ask them to return them to you and go the insurer direction, many of us have doing this.

    The broker is no longer trading, even though he runs other businesses, so since reading that the FOS have suggested the insurer as they are trying to make these also responsible, then you could do this as well.

    Write to your insurer to complain and reclaim on the PPI through them, as you do with a normal reclaim to the lender/broker and if they say no the FOS should be willing to investigate for you.
