Virgin unidentifiable phone calls charged for

Hubby just rang re charges on our phone bill for an 0845 number that is a 'dead line' to reclaim the charge made to our account - they had also charged us before so had to refund more than we thought!
check your bills for this number 0845 464 0700 lots of virgin customers are finding this and others on their bills..

    At Virgin's exorbitant 10p/min (against BT's 0.5p/min to 2p/min) it could add up.

    Or, to put it another way, nice little earner.
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
