Best 4 x 4? and best way to change my car 1/2 way through policy?
Hi all,
Just looking for some advice. I want to change my BMW for a 4 x 4 (live in the hills!) but I've been put off by Admirals scary insurance quotes. Best one for me with 2 years no claims seems to be a Honda. ..but even that's £1100 a year!
Now I'm tied into my Admiral policy until September, so I would have to go with them no matter which car I bought but I understand that even if the car you buy would normally be much cheaper on insurance, they tend to fobb you off and say it's the same price or more. I cant imagine a 4 x 4 is more than my 2005 BMW (which is quite greedy and powerful).
What's the best way for me to go about this?

You may want to google 'winter tyres', and get yourself a set - people who live in the alps manage to get their BMWs to places that even 4x4s (on ordinary tyres) can't reach.0
