Help, phone bought but blocked

Hi

i bought a phone off ebay which i the advert said it was locked to t-mobile. i have been to a shop today to get it unlocked and have been told it is blocked by the network so t-mobile doesnt work. i have emailed the seller but i also want to start the ebay refund process but the item as not described process wont let you start it till 10 days after? any other ideas??

    communicate with the seller, try to pull the phone number and talk to them.
    if you can't then file an item not as dscribed with paypal, it should allow that to happen fairly quickly

    seems though the phone may be stolen, hence why it's blocked
    money saving my @rse.
    I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

    if you paid by paypal then you can do a buyer chargeback to get your money back

    If they havent already emptied their account knowing full well they've sold a stolen phone and that the buyer will attempt a charge back......

    Also; you need to contact the phone network (T-Mob) as they have a record of all IMEI numbers. If this is a stolen phone they are in a lot of trouble...if it is a blocked ex-contract phone, then T-Mobile may still take action as blocked contract phones are still technically their property (as they were never paid for on the contract). Hope this helps
