I am in the process of switching to Ebico for gas. I applied online three weeks ago and have received two cards from them since then - the first thanking me for applying and the second one yesterday stating that my application is nearly complete and I will be receiving my welcome pack shortly. So fingers crossed it will all go smoothly and will happen shortly.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0

There is a cooling off period, Edmund, of seven days.
But I doubt a new provider would consider taking on a debtor, even a paid up debtor.0 -
I have just completed the EBICO online form and will hopefully start to save some money on fuel.0

I'm with Ebico and they have been great so far.
If you are moving purely on price then be aware they should be raising prices in Sept because they missed the last round of rises.

I moved to Ebico from BG and Powergen and my bills are much lower, very happy customer indeed. Even if they raise prices in Sept I will still be better off.0

I'm a very very satisfied ebico customer for gas and electricity for the past two years.
It was quite ususual toget a bill each quarter and then pay it, after spending years with huge credit balances with powergen and they illegally refuse to give me back my own money. their stupid system kept rejecting meter reads because they thought they were too low - even after some bloke came to read them twice. Grrrrr.
However, pay your powergen debt first as they can use this as an excuse to refuse to transfer supply.0 -
I applied for Equipower and Equigas yesterday and had an e-mail confirmation that I'm in the 7 day cooling off period.
It says I'll be contacted by Southern Electric/SWALEC within the next 10 to 14 days.
PS I'm moving from Scottish power as my capped agreement has come to an end. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Same as Penrhyn.
So far so good0 -
I've been with ebico for over a year now, very satisfied. Their prices are the best around (and yes, they'll be increasing in Sept probably as they missed out the last round). I expect that, even after they increase prices, they will be very competitive.
Not currently thinking about moving.
